ICC-ES ISSUES ESR-1834 ON POSTSAVER^® USA SYSTEM

Effective immediately, an evaluation service report, ESR-1834, has been issued to POSTSAVER^® USA by the Evaluation Services of the International Code Council (ICC-ES).  The ESR finds that POSTSAVER^® protected wooden members are building code compliant for those uses such as ground contact applications where decay and termite resistant wood is required.   

“This issuance allows POSTSAVER^® booted posts and SmartPost^®, the specific POSTSAVER^® product for structural applications, to have immediate code compliance in essentially all states and municipalities” said John Makuvek, POSTSAVER^® USA’s General Manager.  “POSTSAVER^® USA offers builders and suppliers a safe and superior product, and now the ICC-ES has acknowledged that POSTSAVER^® products are an effective and proven solution to wood post decay.”
